One kind hybrid character sums and their upper bound estimates [PDF]
The main purpose of this paper is applying the analysis method, the properties of Lucas polynomials and Gauss sums to study the estimation problems of some kind hybrid character sums. In the end, we obtain several sharp upper bound estimates for them. As

Character sums with division polynomials [PDF]
We obtain nontrivial estimates of quadratic character sums of division polynomials $\Psi_n(P)$, $n=1,2, ...$, evaluated at a given point $P$ on an elliptic curve over a finite field of $q$ elements.

Character Sums and Congruences with n! [PDF]
We estimate character sums with n!, on average, and individually. These bounds are used to derive new results about various congruences modulo a prime p and obtain new information about the spacings between quadratic nonresidues modulo p.

Burgess's Bounds for Character Sums [PDF]
We prove that Burgess's bound gives an estimate not just for a single character sum, but for a mean value of many such sums.Comment: Minor changes and addition of reference to Gallagher ...

ON SOME MULTIPLE CHARACTER SUMS [PDF]
We improve a recent result of B. Hanson (2015) on multiplicative character sums with expressions of the type $a + b +cd$ and variables $a,b,c,d$ from four distinct sets of a finite field. We also consider similar sums with $a + b(c+d)$. These bounds rely on some recent advances in additive combinatorics.

On a Certain Quadratic Character Sums of Ternary Symmetry Polynomials modp
In this article, we are using the elementary methods and the properties of the classical Gauss sums to study the calculating problem of a certain quadratic character sums of a ternary symmetry polynomials modulo p and obtain some interesting identities ...
