A new method for comparing two Norm Hilbert spaces and their operators
The paper deals with operators on Norm Hilbert spaces over a Krull valued field K. By using carefully selected equivalent norms (i) the perturbation theory of Fredholm operators (see Ochsenius and Schikhof (2010) [7]) is completed, and (ii) new matrix ...

Toeplitz operators on Hardy spaces [PDF]
In the present thesis we establish Banach space counterparts for several results known for Toeplitz operators on Hardy-Hilbert spaces. We use methods of Didas, Eschmeier and Everard to construct Toeplitz projections for Toeplitz operators acting on a ...

The problems of perturbation and expression for the generalized inverses of closed linear operators in Banach spaces and for the Moore–Penrose inverses of closed linear operators in Hilbert spaces are studied.

A Characterization of Extremal Sets in Hilbert Spaces
We give a characterization of extremal sets in Hilbert spaces that generalizes a classical theorem of H. W. E. Jung. We investigate also the behaviour of points near to the circumsphere of such a set with respect to the Kuratowski and Hausdorff measures of non-compactness.

Isotonicity of the Metric Projection and Complementarity Problems in Hilbert Spaces
© 2017 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC In this paper, as the extension of the isotonicity of the metric projection, the isotonicity characterizations with respect to two arbitrary order relations induced by cones of the metric projection operator ...

Characterization of Hilbert space manifolds revisited
This is a survey paper on manifolds modelled on \(s=(0,1)^{\infty}\), the product of countably many open intervals. The authors present an approach leading to the characterization of s-manifolds that relies exclusively on the geometry of s. They refine the notion of Z-set and correct a misconception that has surfaced in characterizing manifolds in the ...

Mixing sequences in Hilbert spaces
A general setup is provided for theorems of the Blum-Hanson type. Notions of strongly and weakly mixing sequences of elements in a Hilbert space are defined, and equivalent characterizations are derived.
