Ternary Electrification for Efficient Charge Accumulation and Synergetic Charge Collection

Advanced Functional Materials, 2023
AbstractA direct current triboelectric nanogenerator (DC‐TENG) based on corona discharge has a high efficiency in collecting electrification charges. However, enhancing the constant current output with an ultra‐low crest factor and average power density of DC‐TENG through a rational structure design is still a great challenge.

Collective charge-order excitations

Physica C: Superconductivity and its Applications, 2010
Charge-ordered states are observed among low-dimensional transition metal oxides as well as in organic conductors. The physical properties reveal far-reaching similarities that have not been explored so far. The low-energy electrodynamic properties exhibit information about the collective response and fluctuation effects that might be crucial for ...

Charge Collection in Bipolar Transistors

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1987
Charge collection measurements on bipolar test structures have shown the presence of a charge transfer process, that has been referred to as the ion shunt effect. This process had been previously seen in CMOS test structures. The transfer of charge from the emitter to the collector has been demonstrated to be a localized effect requiring that the ion ...

Getting Paid: How to Charge and Collect

Veterinary Clinics of North America: Food Animal Practice, 1989
Providing quality service to an adequate client base is only part of the challenge of managing a dairy practice. Effective charging for services and efficient collection of charges is necessary for economic survival. Charging by procedure, by time, and by contract are alternatives discussed, as well as methods to manage accounts receivable.

Charge Collection in Multilayer Structures

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1984
Charge collection measurements using energetic ions have been performed on layered structures in bulk and epitaxial silicon. Both fast transient digitizer and slower charge sensitive preamplifier measurements have been made as a function of bias, ion type, energy, and angle of incidence.

Effective charges and their relation to collectivity and shell structure

Physical Review C, 1992
Effective boson charges, {ital e}{sub {pi}} and {ital e}{sub {nu}}, are extracted for isotopic chains of most elements from {ital Z}=42 to the actinides from analytic expressions derived in the interacting boson approximation. It is shown that, in {ital valence} space models, such effective charges carry an additional, physically intuitive ...

Collective dynamics of charge fluctuations in ionic conductors

Physica A: Statistical Mechanics and its Applications, 1978
Abstract The generalized hydrodynamic structure of the charge-charge response function has been derived for two-component ionic conductors. The effects of resistive processes and of couplings to mass and heat fluctuations have been singled out. The limiting case of a symmetric molten salt and the long wavelength limit have been examined in some ...

Modeling collective charge transport in nanoparticle assemblies

Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, 2010
Mapping the assembled patterns of nanoparticles onto networks (mathematical graphs) provides a way for quantitative analysis of the structure effects on the physical properties of the assembly. Here we review the network modeling of the conduction with single-electron tunneling mechanisms in the assembled nanoparticle films.

The study of the charge collection of the normal‐collector configuration

Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications, 2012
ABSTRACTCharge collection is one of the crucial processes to collect the induced current when a semiconductor sample is subjected to some external excitations such as the electron or photon beams. The charge collection probability is the basis in the study of this induced current particularly in the field of photonic devices, photovoltaic cells as well

A reciprocity theorem for charge collection

Applied Physics Letters, 1985
It is shown that the current collected by a p-n junction in presence of a unit point generation of carriers at a point P is the same (apart from the dimensions) as the excess minority-carrier density at P due to a unit density of carriers at the junction edge.
