Analytical model for interface recombination limited ideality factors in p-i-n perovskite solar cells

open access: yesAPL Energy
Perovskite solar cells have emerged as a promising thin-film solar cell technology. However, compared to state-of-the-art photovoltaic technologies, perovskite solar cells still suffer from large nonradiative recombination losses. A dominant nonradiative

Dynamics of Photoinduced Charge Carriers in Metal-Halide Perovskites

open access: yesNanomaterials
The measurement and description of the charge-carrier lifetime (τc) is crucial for the wide-ranging applications of lead-halide perovskites. We present time-resolved microwave-detected photoconductivity decay (TRMCD) measurements and a detailed analysis ...

Frequent intra-subtype recombination among HIV-1 circulating in Tanzania. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The study estimated the prevalence of HIV-1 intra-subtype recombinant variants among female bar and hotel workers in Tanzania. While intra-subtype recombination occurs in HIV-1, it is generally underestimated.

ADP‐ribosylation: An emerging regulator of the epigenome

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
ADP‐ribosylation has emerged as a dynamic epigenetic signaling mechanism that modifies histones and chromatin‐associated proteins. Through coordinated PARylation and MARylation, it integrates with other histone modifications to regulate chromatin structure, transcription factor activity, and gene expression, influencing genome function and disease ...

Constructing Chromium Multioxide Hole‐Selective Heterojunction for High‐Performance Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, 2022
Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) suffer from significant nonradiative recombination at perovskite/charge transport layer heterojunction, seriously limiting their power conversion efficiencies.

Non-Contiguous Protein Recombination [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Swapping sequence elements among related proteins can produce chimeric proteins with novel behaviors and improved properties such as enhanced stability. Although homologous mutations are much more conservative than random mutations, chimeras of distantly-

Cryogenic Deformation Behavior of TiAl and Insights Into Embrittlement After High‐Temperature Exposure Combined With Secondary Ion Mass Spectroscopy of Near Surface Chemistry

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Near‐surface deuterium enrichment profiles for different microstructural types of TiAl after exposure at 700 °C in a heavy water‐containing environment. The deuterium levels are significantly higher than expected from natural occurrence, indicating that the heavy water dissociated during the exposure treatment and entered the specimens.
