Interaction of cells on chargeable functional group gradient surfaces

Biomaterials, 1997
Functional group gradient surfaces where the surface density of grafted functional groups changes gradually along the sample length were prepared on low density polyethylene (PE) sheets by corona discharge treatment with gradually increasing power and graft copalymerization of acrylic acid (AA), sodium p-styrene sulphonate (NaSS), and N,N-dimethyl ...

Photovoltaic Chargeable Electrochemical Double Layer Capacitor

2009 Second International Conference on Computer and Electrical Engineering, 2009
Electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLC) or Supercapacitors (SC) are useful in many pulse power applications such as memory backups, mobiles, laptops and communication systems. Symmetrical, aqueous, metal oxide based 8F, 5.5V SC module is developed and its charging with solar array has been investigated.

Fast chargeability lithium polymer batteries

2008 IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting - Conversion and Delivery of Electrical Energy in the 21st Century, 2008
This paper investigates the fast chargeability of lithium polymer batteries. Attempts to fast charge 100 A-h lithium polymer batteries are presented in this paper. The tests were done at five charging currents: 50 amperes (0.5C), 100 amperes (1C), 200 amperes (2C), 300 amperes (3C), and 320 amperes (3.2C).

THE INTERPRETATION OF GRADIENT ARRAY CHARGEABILITY ANOMALIES *

Geophysical Prospecting, 1974
AbstractEmpirical equalities derived from time domain induced polarization scale modelling with the gradient array over simple geometries, and from the potential field functions for equivalent simple charge configurations are similar. The function for the dyke like body is analogous to the magnetic case allowing both total and vertical magnetic field ...

Isotropic Sodiation Behaviors of Ultrafast-Chargeable Tin Crystals

ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, 2018
High-rate performance and mechanical stability of anode materials are the two important characteristics that are necessary to develop fast-charging batteries with longevity. In the present study, we demonstrate that both high rate performance and mechanical stability of the anode can be achieved with the Na-Sn battery system.

Photo-chargeable titanium/vanadium oxide composites

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 2008
Abstract Titanium and vanadium oxides were prepared by a sol–gel technique and supercritical drying and evaluated for light energy conversion and storage in a wet-type photoelectrochemical cell. Ultraviolet light irradiation to the nanocrystalline titania aerogel (anatase) produced significant photocurrents, and the maximum incident photon-to-current

Negative Apparent Resistivity and Chargeability in Crosshole Electrical Surveys

Proceedings, 2011
As part of a project aimed at testing various geophysical methods for environmental applications at a site with very high-salinity groundwater, we tested crosshole resistivity and IP tomography using many electrode configurations. Tests have shown that both negative apparent resistivity and chargeability are possible and are related to subsurface ...

Current sensor on the base of permanent pre-chargeable amplifier

Proceedings Ninth Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI, 2003
The sensitivity and delay of the amplifier are the key problems in the performance of current sensors (CS). For large devices which consist of several cells, for example 32 bit, the amplifier must react to 10-20 mV. The previous type of highly sensitive amplifier which is based on cascade and reference voltage [dill] can react to this level of voltage.
