Plant remains from the Linear Pottery Culture settlement at sites Modlniczka 3 and 4, Kraków district. New sources for understanding agriculture in the Early Neolithic in southern Poland.

open access: yesActa Palaeobotanica
The aim of the archaeobotanical research of plant macro remains assemblage from the Early Neolithic settlement at Modlniczka in southern Poland is to study plants (fruit and seeds), cultivated and wild species used by the oldest farming groups during the

Kinetics‐Controlled Architecture of Binder‐Free Organic Electrodes for Enhanced Ion Transport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Pulse reverse electrodeposition controls nucleation and growth to create hierarchically porous Py‐derived oligomeric electrodes with enhanced ionic accessibility and reduced transport resistance. The resulting binder‐free architectures translate these transport advantages into practical sodium‐storage functionality.

Lattice Strain and Built‐In Field Synergistically Boost Urea Oxidation via Dynamic NiOOH Mediation at Multiphase Heterointerfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A sulfur‐doped lignin‐derived carbon‐coated Ni‐NiO‐MoO2 nanorod array was synthesized, exhibiting enhanced UOR performance ‐ due to lattice‐strain and built‐in electric field effects by multiphase heterogeneous interface in Ni‐NiO‐MoO2@SC, excellent corrosion resistance, mass‐transport ability, and long‐term stability (500 mA cm−2 at 1.53 V for 500 h ...

“Granaries” of Early Iron Age Kalakača, northern Serbia and the issue of archaeobotanical taphonomy

open access: yesБългарско е-Списание за Археология, 2015
Archaeological excavations of the Early Iron Age site of Kalakača in northern Serbia revealed the presence of numerous pit-features and traces of several possible above-ground structures. A number of pits were interpreted as storage features.

Aerosol Jet Printing of Benzocyclobutene as a Thermally Stable, Low‐Loss Dielectric for Multilayer Microwave Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
Multilayer aerosol jet printed components with a low‐loss, thermally stable dielectric are demonstrated using benzocyclobutene. Ink formulation and in‐line droplet evaporation control support high‐quality, versatile, and stable printing performance. A specialized measurement for low‐loss materials reveals promising microwave properties, which, combined

Changes of wood anatomical characters of selected species of Araucaria- during artificial charring - implications for palaeontology

open access: yesActa Botânica Brasílica, 2017
Charcoal is widely accepted as evidence of the occurrence of palaeo-wildfire. Although fossil charcoal remains have been used in many studies, investigation into the anatomical changes occurring during charring are few. The present study analyses changes

A Sustainable Bio‐Based Epoxy Thermoset as a High‐Performance Alternative to BPA‐Based Resins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rigid–flexible bio‐based epoxy network integrates soybean oil, lignin, and maleic anhydride to overcome the strength–toughness–sustainability trade‐off of conventional BPA epoxy. The thermoset delivers excellent performance as both a structural adhesive and a matrix for glass‐fabric composites, while enabling pH‐responsive degradation, environmental ...

The exceptional finding of Locus 2 at Dehesilla Cave and the Middle Neolithic ritual funerary practices of the Iberian Peninsula.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
There is a significant number of funerary contexts for the Early Neolithic in the Iberian Peninsula, and the body of information is much larger for the Late Neolithic.
