Dating medieval English charters [PDF]
Deeds, or charters, dealing with property rights, provide a continuous documentation which can be used by historians to study the evolution of social, economic and political changes. This study is concerned with charters (written in Latin) dating from the tenth through early fourteenth centuries in England.

Spot Market versus Full Charter Fleet: Decisions Support for Full Truck Load Tenders [PDF]
This paper presents an approach to help business decision-makers gain market share by providing competitive tender offers for Full-Truck-Load (FTL) services. In particular, we compare operating a fleet of Full-Charter-Trucks (FCT), using spot-market (SM) capacity and a mixture of both options against each other. A Pickup and Delivery Problem is modeled,

A New Charter of Ethics and Rights of Artificial Consciousness in a Human World [PDF]
Taking the stance that artificially conscious agents should be given human-like rights, in this paper we attempt to define consciousness, aggregate existing universal human rights, analyze robotic laws with roots in both reality and science fiction, and synthesize everything to create a new robot-ethical charter.

Scalar field phase dynamics in preheating [PDF]
We study the model of a massive inflaton field $\phi$ coupled to another scalar filed $\chi$ with interaction term $g^2\phi^2\chi^2$ for the first stage of preheating. We obtain the the behavior of the phase in terms of the iteration of a simple family of circle maps.

Stability analysis of cosmological models through Liapunov's method [PDF]
We investigate the general asymptotic behaviour of Friedman-Robertson-Walker (FRW) models with an inflaton field, scalar-tensor FRW cosmological models and diagonal Bianchi-IX models by means of Liapunov's method. This method provides information not only about the asymptotic stability of a given equilibrium point but also about its basin of attraction.

Are Charter Value and Supervision Aligned? A Segmentation Analysis [PDF]
Previous work suggests that the charter value hypothesis is theoretically grounded and empirically supported, but not universally. Accordingly, this paper aims to perform an analysis of the relations between charter value, risk taking, and supervision, taking into account the relations' complexity.

CHARTER: Identifying the Most-Critical Gate Operations in Quantum Circuits via Amplified Gate Reversibility [PDF]
When quantum programs are executed on noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) computers, they experience hardware noise; consequently, the program outputs are often erroneous. To mitigate the adverse effects of hardware noise, it is necessary to understand the effect of hardware noise on the program output and more fundamentally, understand the impact ...

Phase dynamics and particle production in preheating [PDF]
We study a simple model of a massive inflaton field $\phi$ coupled to another scalar filed $\chi$ with interaction term $g^2\phi^2\chi^2$. We use the theory developed by Kofman {\em et al.} (Phys. Rev. D {\bf 56} (1997) 3258 [arXiv:hep-ph/9704452])for the first stage of preheating to give a full description of the dynamics of the $\chi$ field modes ...

Efficient Annotation of Medieval Charters [PDF]
Diplomatics, the analysis of medieval charters, is a major field of research in which paleography is applied. Annotating data, if performed by laymen, needs validation and correction by experts. In this paper, we propose an effective and efficient annotation approach for charter segmentation, essentially reducing it to object detection.

Self-interacting scalar field cosmologies: unified exact solutions and symmetries [PDF]
We investigate a mechanism that generates the exact solutions of scalar field cosmologies in a unified way. The procedure investigated here permits to recover allmost all known solutions, and allows one to derive new solutions as well. In particular, we derive and discuss one novel solution defined in terms of the Lambert function.
