Chelating agent free solid phase extraction (CAF-SPE) method for separation and/or preconcentration of iron(III) ions

open access: yes, 2010
This paper presents a chelating agent free solid phase extraction (CAF-SPE) method for the separation and/or preconcentration of trace iron(III) ions. This method is based on the sorption of Fe(III) ions without using any chelating agent onto Amberlyst ...

Drug‐Induced Cuproptosis Defines the Therapeutic Window of Celecoxib in Intervertebral Disc Degeneration via the HSP90‐RBX1 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals the dual role of celecoxib in intervertebral disc degeneration. While low concentrations are protective, high concentrations induce toxicity by upregulating HSP90, which synergizes with USP15 to deubiquitinate and stabilize RBX1. This leads to degradation of COMMD1/ATP7B, copper dyshomeostasis, and ultimately, cuproptosis.

Surfactant-Chelating Agent Interactions [Elektronisk resurs]

open access: yes
The influence of chelating agents on the self-assembly process in surfactant solutions remains largely unexplored and merits further study. Traditionally, chelating agents are seen as salting-out ions that promote surfactant separation.

CD44‐Targeting Hydroxyapatite Nanoparticles (HAP) Induce Mitochondrial Dysfunction‐Driven PANoptosis and Immunogenic Cell Death (ICD) via Ca Overload in Colorectal Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains therapeutically challenging due to high metastasis, recurrence, and immunotherapy resistance driven by tumor microenvironment‐mediated immune evasion. Immunogenic cell death (ICD) offers a promising strategy to reshape the immune microenvironment, yet existing ICD inducers suffer from poor targeting efficiency ...

An octadentate bifunctional chelating agent for the development of stable zirconium-89 based molecular imaging probes

open access: yes, 2014
(89)Zr-based imaging agents hold great promise as novel radio-tracers in nuclear medicine. However, insufficient stability of currently used radiometal complexes in vivo is a safety concern for clinical applications.

Asymmetrically Coordinated Dual‐Atom Manganese Contrast Agents Enabling High‐Efficiency T1 Enhanced MRI for Precise Tumor Visualization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel dual‐atom manganese MRI contrast agent (Mn‐BN) with a unique asymmetric coordination geometry provided a promising platform for sensitive and specific tumor imaging. In mice model, Mn‐BN nanoparticles precisely functioned as both a primary tumor‐specific enhancer in subcutaneous models and a hepatocyte‐specific agent in liver metastases models ...
