Chemical analyses of cryoglobulins

Immunochemistry, 1974
Abstract A total of nine monoclonal cryoglobulins were subjected to chemical analyses. Results showed that they are preferentially associated with light chains with unblocked N-termini and also probably with heavy chain of VHI subgroup.

Random Models and Analyses for Chemical Graphs

International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 2015
This paper describes a random model for chemical graphs that captures the notion of valence along with algorithms to generate chemical graphs using this model. An approach for computing the probability that a particular chemical graph is generated under this model is provided.

Chemical Analyses of Fossil Bone

2012
The preservation of microstructures consistent with soft tissues, cells, and other biological components in demineralized fragments of dinosaur bone tens of millions of years old was unexpected, and counter to current hypotheses of tissue, cellular, and molecular degradation. Although the morphological similarity of these tissues to extant counterparts

Some aspects of the reliability of chemical analyses

Analytical Biochemistry, 1968
Abstract The reliability of a chemical analytical method is a composite property of the method. This composite property may be resolved into four more elementary properties which may be designated as (1) specificity, (2) accuracy, (3) precision, and (4) sensitivity.

Chemical structure analyses of phosphorylated chitosan

Carbohydrate Research, 2014
Chemical modification of chitosan to generate new bio-functional materials can bring more desirable properties depending on the nature of the groups introduced. Phosphorylated chitosan has attracted interests in recent years. The literature has reported that the phosphorylation of chitosan could be achieved through three different reaction routes ...

Analyses of Chemical Bonds

1980
The analysis of a system composed of two or more interacting subsystems is often pursued, in ab initio studies, by taking as hamiltonian the same hamiltonian used for atomic systems but with the inclusion of more than one nucleus; the nuclei are kept at fixed positions as is done in atomic computations (Born-Oppenheimer approximation). Thus, the system

On the Chemical Analyses of the Rocks

Quarterly Journal of the Geological Society of London, 1875
At the request of Mr. Hicks I made several analyses of Cambrian rocks, principally with the view of determining the amount of phosphoric acid in each; but incidentally, in one or two cases, an analysis, more or less complete, has been made of the specimen of rock itself. No. I. is a darkish grey flaggy rock, with an impression of

Towards unified analyses in chemical pathology

Pathology, 1978
The use of different units, methods and instruments in chemical pathology has produced a situation in which different laboratories may produce numerically different results for the same analysis. The more complete use of SI, the introduction to Australia of reference methods and the production in Australia of a pool of reference material will reduce ...
