Environmental impact factors and regulatory mechanism on EPS of quorum sensing in granular sludge
Quorum sensing(QS),mediated by signaling molecules, plays a crucial role in sludge granulation and maintaining the stability of particle structure. This paper summarized the structure, sources, action sites, and QS mechanisms of typical signaling molecules ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Surface Treatments on the Characteristics of Metal–Oxide Semiconductor Capacitors
The properties of metal-oxide semiconductor (MOS) capacitors with different chemical treatments have been examined in this study. A MOS capacitor consists of an Al2O3/n-GaN/AlN buffer/Si substrate.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Physical and Chemical Water Quality of Ilam Water Treatment Plant [PDF]
Water usually has some dissolved elements such as solids and gasses. Existences of some elements in water are necessary for human health, but deficiency of many them can cause problems.

Efficient simulation of stochastic chemical kinetics with the Stochastic Bulirsch-Stoer extrapolation method [PDF]
BackgroundBiochemical systems with relatively low numbers of components must be simulated stochastically in order to capture their inherent noise. Although there has recently been considerable work on discrete stochastic solvers, there is still a need ...

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
