Immunotherapy (IO) is an effective treatment for various cancers; however, the benefits are modest for small cell lung cancer (SCLC). The poor response of SCLC to anti-PD-1/PD-L1 IO is due in part to the lack of cytotoxic T cells because of limited ...

Following traumatic brain injury, indole‐3‐propionic acid (IPA) directly targets the aryl hydrocarbon receptor on astrocytes in the peri‐lesional cortex; this suppresses interferon regulatory factor 1‐driven transcription of the E3 ubiquitin ligase RFFL (ring finger and FYVE‐like domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase).

Molecular Functions and Drug Prediction of MMP1 and TGFBR2 in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma
MMP1 and TGFBR2 were validated by machine learning and external datasets as the candidate genes. Dexamethasone showed strong binding affinity to MMP1 (−7.72 kcal/mol) and TGFBR2 (−7.27 kcal/mol) in docking studies. Knockdown of MMP1 repressed the malignant phenotypes of NPC cells.

Chemokine expression and internalization by LSEC.
(A) Chemokine mRNA expression was quantified in resting and TNF-α/IFN-γ activated LSEC in relation to GAPDH. (B) LSEC layer were incubated with fluorochrome-labeled CXCL10 or CXCL12 at 37°C or 4°C.

Dual role of CXCL10 in cancer progression: implications for immunotherapy and targeted treatment
CXCL10 is a chemokine crucial for immune cell recruitment and inflammation modulation, especially within the tumor microenvironment. This review critically analyzes the underexplored role of CXCL10 in modulating JAK/STAT, MAPK/ERK, and PI3K/Akt ...

Nail Lichen Planus in Children ‐ Epidemiology, Pathogenesis, Clinical Presentation, and Treatment
ABSTRACT Nail lichen planus (NLP) is a chronic inflammatory disorder that, while rare in children compared to adults, represents a significant cause of pediatric nail dystrophy that requires early recognition to prevent permanent scarring and nail loss.
