Stretching Profile Correlated With the Aromatic Properties of Aged Light Cheese Enriched With Milk Globule Membrane Components

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 6, June 2025.
In this study, milk fat globule membrane content was used as a fat substitute in aged light cheeses. It was determined that buttermilk can be used in reduced‐fat cheeses with its sensory and technological effects. The study shows the value of a sustainable additive for the nutrition of future generations.

Fusion of Vis‐Near and Mid‐Infrared Spectroscopic Data for a Prediction of Biochar C, Native Soil Organic C and Root C in a Designed Experiment With Loess Soils

open access: yesJournal of Plant Nutrition and Soil Science, Volume 188, Issue 3, Page 430-446, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Background The accuracy of predictions using visible to near‐infrared (vis–NIR) and mid‐infrared (MIR) spectroscopy for different organic compounds in arable soils is not sufficiently quantified and designed experiments are useful to assess the potential.

Proximate Composition, In Vitro Protein Digestibility, and Micronutrient Density of Commercial Pea, Faba Bean, and Lentil Protein Isolates and Concentrates

open access: yesSustainable Food Proteins, Volume 3, Issue 2, June 2025.
This work evaluated 27 commercial pulse protein concentrates (PC) and isolates (PI) derived from yellow pea (P), faba bean (F) or lentil (L) crops. The protein samples were analyzed for proximate composition, protein quality, and micronutrient density.

Estimation of the Error Structure in Multivariate Response Linear Regression Models

open access: yesWIREs Computational Statistics, Volume 17, Issue 2, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Multivariate response linear regression model considers how a set of covariates affects multiple responses. In contrast to separately running univariate regression for each response, multivariate response regression can better estimate the coefficient matrix by exploiting shared information among the responses.
