tlpA gene expression is required for arginine and bicarbonate chemotaxis in Helicobacter pylori
About half of the human population is infected with Helicobacter pylori, a bacterium causing gastritis, peptic ulcer and progression to gastric cancer. Chemotaxis and flagellar motility are required for colonization and persistence of H.

Exploring Arsenic Transformation and Chemotaxis in a Pseudomonas sp.
An arsenic-resistant bacteria (strain PKA 200) was isolated from the Hindon River (Ghaziabad) after analyzing its water sample. Strain PKA 200 belongs to the Pseudomonas genus and can convert harmful arsenite [As (III)] into less harmful arsenate [As(V)].

Tumor‐Infiltrating mregDCs Restrain Anti‐Tumor Immunity in Early Relapse HCC
Tumor‐infiltrating mregDCs are regulated by the TNFR2‐non‐canonical NF‐κB axis, which is mediated by TNF‐α secreted by CD161+CD8+ T cells. These mregDCs recruit CD161+CD8+ T cells via the CCL20‐CCR6 axis, forming a positive feedback loop that enhances immunosuppression, promotes early recurrence of HCC, and further confirms TNFR2 as a key therapeutic ...

PLD3 activates the lysosomal‐AKT‐NF‐κB axis to drive cellular senescence in macrophages, establishing an immunosuppressive TME by limiting the infiltration of cytotoxic T, NK, and NKT cells, which confers resistance to anti‐PD‐1 therapy. Abrine inhibits PLD3 expression, restoring antitumor immunity and synergizing with anti‐PD‐1 treatment.

Dual targeting of ANGPTL3 and IL‐33/ST2 attenuates diabetic kidney disease by reprogramming lipid–inflammatory crosstalk. This strategy reduces renal lipotoxicity, suppresses inflammatory activation, and limits fibrotic remodeling, thereby preserving kidney structure and function and highlighting a mechanism‐guided therapeutic approach for metabolic ...

PGK1 in tumor cells upregulates CCL2 expression through activation of the AKT/GSK‐3β/β‐catenin signaling axis, thereby promoting the recruitment and M2 polarization of TAMs and ultimately impairing the infiltration and activation of CD8+ T cells within the HCC tumor microenvironment. ABSTRACT Patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) have a

Chemotaxis in Escherichia coli
Motile bacteria are attracted to a variety of chemicals — a phenomenon called chemotaxis (for a review, see Weibull, 1960). Although chemotaxis by bacteria has been recognized since the end of the nineteenth century, thanks to the pioneering work of Engelmann, Pfeffer, and other biologists, the mechanisms involved are still almost entirely unknown. How

The biomimetic self‐assembly nanomedicine reversing atherosclerosis via senotherapy strategy. ABSTRACT The greatest challenge in atherosclerosis (AS) management lies in achieving lesion reversal, not merely slowing progression. Senescent cell accumulation—driven by continuous generation and apoptotic resistance—perpetuates plaque pathology and ...
