Diamagnetic vortices in Chern-Simons theory [PDF]
We find a new type of topological vortex solution in the $U(1)_Z \times U(1)_A$ Chern Simons gauge theory in the presence of a $U(1)_A$ magnetic field background. In this theory $U(1)_Z$ is broken spontaneously by the $U(1)_A$ magnetic field. These vortices exhibit long range interactions as they are charged under the unbroken $U(1)_A$.

Chern-Simons dualities with multiple flavors at large N
We study U(N ) k Chern-Simons theory coupled to fundamental fermions and scalars in a large N ‘t Hooft limit. We compute the thermal free energy at high temperature, as well as two- and three-point functions of simple gauge-invariant operators.

The three‐dimensional Seiberg–Witten equations for 3/2$3/2$‐spinors: A compactness theorem
Abstract The Rarita‐Schwinger–Seiberg‐Witten (RS–SW) equations are defined similarly to the classical Seiberg–Witten equations, where a geometric non–Dirac‐type operator replaces the Dirac operator called the Rarita–Schwinger operator. In dimension 4, the RS–SW equation was first considered by the second author (Nguyen [J. Geom. Anal. 33(2023), no. 10,

Localization in abelian Chern-Simons theory [PDF]
Chern-Simons theory on a closed contact three-manifold is studied when the Lie group for gauge transformations is compact, connected and abelian. A rigorous definition of an abelian Chern-Simons partition function is derived using the Faddeev-Popov gauge fixing method.

Higher-spin dynamics and Chern-Simons theories
We review the construction of consistent higher-spin theories based on Chern-Simons actions. To this end we first introduce the required higher-spin algebras and discuss curvature and torsion tensors in an unconstrained way.

= 4 Chern-Simons theories with auxiliary vector multiplets [PDF]
We investigate a class of quiver-type Chern-Simons gauge theories with some Chern-Simons couplings vanishing. The vanishing of the couplings means that the corresponding vector fields are auxiliary fields.

Abstract The unification of conformal and fuzzy gravities with internal interactions is based on the facts that i) the tangent group of a curved manifold and the manifold itself do not necessarily have the same dimensions and ii) both gravitational theories considered here have been formulated in a gauge theoretic way.

6d/5d exceptional gauge theories from web diagrams
We construct novel web diagrams with a trivalent or quadrivalent gluing for various 6d/5d theories from certain Higgsings of 6d conformal matter theories on a circle.

Holomorphic field theories and higher algebra
Abstract Aimed at complex geometers and representation theorists, this survey explores higher dimensional analogs of the rich interplay between Riemann surfaces, Virasoro and Kac‐Moody Lie algebras, and conformal blocks. We introduce a panoply of examples from physics — field theories that are holomorphic in nature, such as holomorphic Chern‐Simons ...
