Adult child-parent relationships: On the problem of classification
AbstractFamily and intergenerational research in recent decades has been marked with an increase in scientific interest in the problem of adult child-parent relationships and their role in individuals’ lives across their life span. With the increasing number of studies on this issue, the need for a classification of adult child-parent relationships ...

Scalable Task Planning via Large Language Models and Structured World Representations
This work efficiently combines graph‐based world representations with the commonsense knowledge in Large Language Models to enhance planning techniques for the large‐scale environments that modern robots will need to face. Planning methods often struggle with computational intractability when solving task‐level problems in large‐scale environments ...

Differential parent and teacher reports of school readiness in a disadvantaged community [PDF]
Differential ratings by multiple informants are an important issue in survey design. Although much research has focused on differential reports of child behaviour, discrepancies between parent and teacher reports of children’s school readiness are less ...

Liu et al. define a systems‐level interactome of fibroadipogenic progenitor (FAP)‐mediated signaling in skeletal muscle by integrating single‐cell transcriptomics with FAP depletion‐based perturbation analysis. Functional interrogation using a conditioned media bioassay links predicted signaling to multicellular outcomes, establishing a framework to ...

Paternal Circadian Disruption Impairs Offspring Cognition via Sperm microRNAs
Paternal circadian disruption remodels the sperm small RNA payload, elevating miR‐92a‐3p/miR‐25‐3p levels and perturbing early embryonic gene regulatory programs. Microinjection experiments and single‐embryo transcriptomics reveal sex‐specific developmental vulnerabilities, ultimately impairing offspring hippocampal synaptic plasticity and cognition ...

The relationship between problematic media use and parent-child relationship in children
The diversity in the usage areas of digital tools has led to the expansion of the user population across all age groups. Media use that begins at an early age and exhibits continuity has become a determining factor in child development and parent-child ...

A genome‐wide microRNA CRISPR screen identifies miR‐18a as a master regulator of cross‐resistance in melanoma. Loss of miR‐18a activates the AJUBA–YAP/Hippo axis to confer BRAFi resistance and enhances THBS1–CD47 interaction to impair CD8+ T cell immunity. hnRNP A1 is identified as an upstream regulator of miR‐18a processing.
