Chimera state in coupled map lattice of matrices
In recent years, a lot of research has focused on understanding the behavior of when synchronous and asynchronous phases occur, that is, the existence of chimera states in various networks.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Chimera states in systems of superdiffusively coupled neurons [PDF]
Background and Objectives: One of the most intriguing collective phenomena, which arise in systems of coupled oscillators of different nature, are chimera states.

Chimera states in coupled sine-circle map lattices
Systems of coupled oscillators have been seen to exhibit chimera states, i.e. states where the system splits into two groups where one group is phase locked and the other is phase randomized.

Mobility-induced persistent chimera states [PDF]
We study the dynamics of mobile, locally coupled identical oscillators in the presence of coupling delays. We find different kinds of chimera states, in which coherent in-phase and anti-phase domains coexist with incoherent domains. These chimera states are dynamic and can persist for long times for intermediate mobility values.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

A Brief Review of Chimera State in Empirical Brain Networks
Understanding the human brain and its functions has always been an interesting and challenging problem. Recently, a significant progress on this problem has been achieved on the aspect of chimera state where a coexistence of synchronized and ...
