Abstract This experiment was conducted in Thayer County, NE. The plot area was bordered on 1 side by winter wheat. Sorghum was planted perpendicular to the wheat. Plots were 4 rows (spaced 0.9 m), 30.5 m long arranged in a randomized complete block design with 4 replications. The 2 center rows were used for insect and plant stand counts.
