KINDLING EVOLUTION AT CHINCHILLA DURING A YEAR IN A MIDDLE SIZE BREEDING FARM
The aim of this paper is to analyze the reproductive performances (fecundity, kindling) of the chinchilla’s female. This time our research are focused to follow and interpreting the chinchillas kindling evolution during a year in a middle size farm, and ...

Transgenic expression of the dicotyledonous pattern recognition receptor EFR in rice leads to ligand-dependent activation of defense responses [PDF]
Plant plasma membrane localized pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) detect extracellular pathogen-associated molecules. PRRs such as Arabidopsis EFR and rice XA21 are taxonomically restricted and are absent from most plant genomes.

High levels of cyclic-di-GMP in plant-associated Pseudomonas correlate with evasion of plant immunity [PDF]
The plant innate immune system employs plasma membrane-localized receptors that specifically perceive pathogen/microbe-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs/MAMPs).

Liver Stiffness Characterization of OGTLKO Mouse Model of Progressive Liver Fibrosis. [PDF]
Objectives O‐GlcNAcylation plays a key regulatory role in hepatic physiology, and its disruption leads to fibrosis in liver‐specific OGT knockout mice (OGTLKO), making this model valuable for studying advanced metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatohepatitis (MASH).

Echocardiography in the Chinchilla
Abstract Heart disease has been described in the chinchilla and, with increasing popularity as a pet, the demand for diagnostic evaluation and treatment has increased. The goal of this study was to determine reference values for echocardiographic measurements in chinchillas and the effect of anesthesia on these measurements. Seventeen

The calcium-dependent protein kinase CPK28 negatively regulates the BIK1-mediated PAMP-induced calcium burst [PDF]
Plants are protected from microbial infection by a robust immune system. Two of the earliest responses mediated by surface-localized immune receptors include an increase in cytosolic calcium (Ca(2+)) and a burst of apoplastic reactive oxygen species (ROS)

Chinchilla chinchilla (Lichtenstein, 1830) Short-tailed Chinchilla Eriomys chinchilla Lichtenstein, 1830:plate 28. Type locality unknown; stated as Peru by Prell, 1934a:102 (Osgood, 1941:410); Allen, 1942:391 states that Lichtenstein “implied that the specimen came from Chile, not Peru.” Callomys aureus D’Orbigny and I. Infiltrative gastric adenocarcinoma in a chinchilla (Chinchilla lanigera) [PDF]
A case of infiltrative gastric adenocarcinoma in a 5-year-old female chinchilla ( Chinchilla lanigera) is described. The animal died after a 5-day period of lethargy and anorexia. Gross examination revealed increased gastric volume. The gastric wall was thickened and contained numerous firm, white nodules on the serosal surface.
