Exploitation of chipless RFID technology for humidity monitoring
2017 XXXIInd General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio Science (URSI GASS), 2017A novel ink-jet printed chipless RFID humidity sensor is presented. The sensor, based on a finite Artificial Impedance Surface (AIS), is ink-jet printed on a thin sheet of Mitsubishi paper, which is placed on a metal-backed cardboard layer. The frequency response of the AIS provides three deep nulls thanks to the three nested loops that constitute the ...

Chipless RFID based on group delay encoding
2011 IEEE International Conference on RFID-Technologies and Applications, 2011A two bit planar chipless RFID tag based on group delay encoding has been presented in this paper. This chipless tag encodes data in the phase signature. The data encoding has been done by using C-sections formed by coupling the cascaded transmission line sections at alternative ends.

Robust Detection of A Moving Chipless RFID Tag
2020The chipless RFID tag can be attached to a mobile object such as a product on a conveyor belt, an item dropping into a shopping trolley basket, a human or an animal in which the information is more difficult to detect than in the case where the tag is attached to a stationary object.
