Quantum Anomalies in Condensed Matter
Quantum materials provide a fertile ground in which to test and realize quantum anomalies predicted by quantum field theory. Quantum anomalies need to be canceled globally, however, quantum states with a quantum anomaly can exist at the boundary of topological materials.

An Algebraic Roadmap of Particle Theories
Algebraic models of particle physics are often met with recurring obstacles. An ideal algebraic model should ‘1e conform to the Coleman‐Mandula theorem, ‘2e evade familiar fermion doubling problems, ‘3e naturally explain the Standard Model's chirality, ‘4e exclude B‐L gauge symmetry at low energy, and ‘5e explain the existence of three generations ...

The dual properties of chiral and isospin asymmetric dense quark matter formed of two-color quarks
In this paper the phase structure of dense baryon matter composed of u and d quarks with two colors has been investigated in the presence of baryon μ B , isospin μ I and chiral isospin μ I5 chemical potentials in the framework of Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model

Chiral effective Lagrangian and quark masses [PDF]
The status of lattice determinations of quark masses is reviewed (with the exception of m_b). Attempts to extract the low-energy constants in the effective chiral Lagrangian are discussed, with special emphasis on those couplings which are required to test the hypothesis of a massless up-quark.

Visible GeV ALP from TeV Vector‐Like Leptons
Abstract A model is presented where a GeV axion‐like‐particle (ALP) is predicted in a large portion of the parameter space due to the presence of explicit Peccei–Quinn (PQ) symmetry‐breaking terms in an exotic leptonic sector. The latter provides a solution to the muon g−2$g-2$ anomaly, within the framework of the Linear Seesaw neutrino mechanism.

Super Yang–Mills with partially non-linear extended supersymmetry
We discuss 4D N=2 non-abelian gauge theories where one supersymmetry is preserved while the other one is spontaneously broken and non-linearly realized. The goldstino resides in a Maxwell multiplet of the Bagger–Galperin type.

Micropolar Elastoplasticity Using a Fast Fourier Transform‐Based Solver
ABSTRACT This work presents a micromechanical spectral formulation for obtaining the full‐field and homogenized response of elastoplastic micropolar composites. A closed‐form radial‐return mapping is derived from thermodynamics‐based micropolar elastoplastic constitutive equations to determine the increment of plastic strain necessary to return the ...

It has been shown in [15, 70] in the framework of Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model with the assumption of spatially homogeneous condensates that in the large-N c limit (N c is the number of quark colours) there exist three dual symmetries of the thermodynamic ...
