Quark models and chiral lagrangians

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1990
Abstract We consider the description of low-energy hadronic physics in terms of quark models, and explore its connection with chiral lagrangians. The chiral lagrangians with four derivatives arising from the interactions of the Goldstone bosons with quarks are calculated.

Supersymmetric Field Theories on Three-Manifolds

open access: yes, 2013
We construct supersymmetric field theories on Riemannian three-manifolds M, focusing on N=2 theories with a U(1)_R symmetry. Our approach is based on the rigid limit of new minimal supergravity in three dimensions, which couples to the flat-space ...

N=2 Supersymmetric Calabi-Yau Hypersurface Sigma-Models on Curved Two-Dimensions

open access: yes, 1994
We consider the effect of curved two-dimensional space-time on Witten's $N=2$ supersymmetric sigma models interpolating Calabi-Yau hypersurfaces to Landau-Ginzburg models.

Comment on scalar glueball mass

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We study the interaction of scalar glueball with quark–antiquark and four-quark spinless meson fields within the framework of a generalized linear sigma model in which the trace anomaly of QCD is exactly realized.

WZW terms without anomalies: Generalised symmetries in chiral Lagrangians

open access: yesSciPost Physics
We consider a 4d non-linear sigma model on the coset $(\text{SU}(N)_L × \text{SU}(N)_R × \text{SU}(2))/(\text{SU}(N)_{L+R}× \mathrm{U}(1))\cong \text{SU}(N) × S^2$, that features a topological Wess–Zumino–Witten (WZW) term whose curvature is $\frac{n}{24\

Theta angle in holographic QCD

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
V-QCD is a class of effective holographic models for QCD which fully includes the backreaction of quarks to gluon dynamics. The physics of the θ-angle and the axial anomaly can be consistently included in these models.
