Higher Structure of Chiral Symmetry. [PDF]
Abstract A recent development in our understanding of the theory of quantum fields is the fact that familiar gauge theories in spacetime dimensions greater than two can have non-invertible symmetries generated by topological defects. The hallmark of these non-invertible symmetries is that the fusion rule deviates from the usual group-like ...

Chiral symmetry restoration and N symmetry [PDF]
We demonstrate that chiral symmetry restoration in quenched finite temperature QCD depends crucially on the $Z_3$ phase of the Polyakov loop ${\cal P}$. This dependence is a general consequence of the coupling of the chiral order parameter to the Polyakov loop.

Chiral Symmetry of Baryons [PDF]
We study chiral symmetry aspects of the positive and negative parity baryons by identifying them with linear representations of the chiral group $SU(N_{f}) \otimes SU(N_{f})$. It is shown that there are two distinctive schemes: naive and mirror assignments.

Heavy–light mesons in chiral AdS/QCD
We discuss a minimal holographic model for the description of heavy–light and light mesons with chiral symmetry, defined in a slab of AdS space. The model consists of a pair of chiral Yang–Mills and tachyon fields with specific boundary conditions that ...

’t Hooft anomaly matching condition and chiral symmetry breaking without bilinear condensate
We explore 4-dimensional SU(N) gauge theory with a Weyl fermion in an irreducible self-conjugate representation. This theory, in general, has a discrete chiral symmetry.

Catalysis of Dynamical Chiral Symmetry Breaking by Chiral Chemical Potential in Dirac semimetals [PDF]
In this paper we study how dynamical chiral symmetry breaking is affected by nonzero chiral chemical potential in Dirac semimetals. To perform this study we applied lattice quantum Monte Carlo simulations of Dirac semimetals. Within lattice simulation we

Naturalness, Chiral Symmetry, and Spontaneous Chiral Symmetry Breaking [PDF]
A properly called “naturalness” is imposed on gauge theories. It is an order-of-magnitude restriction that must hold at all energy scales μ. To construct models with complete naturalness for elementary particles one needs more types of confining gauge theories besides quantum chromodynamics.

Chiral Structure of Baryon and Scalar Tetraquark Currents
We investigate chiral properties of local fields of baryons consisting of three quarks with flavor SU(3) symmetry. We construct explicitly independent local threequark fields belonging to definite Lorentz and flavor representations.
