Chiral symmetry restoration with three chiral partners
I discuss the masses of chiral partners in the context of chiral symmetry restoration at finite temperature. Using the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model I first remind the usual situation where two mesons of opposed parity become degenerate above the chiral transition temperature.

Chiral symmetry restoration at finite temperature in a model with manifest confinement [PDF]
Multiple lattice evidences support the existence of a confining but chirally symmetric regime of QCD above the chiral symmetry restoration crossover at Tch ~ 155 MeV. This regime is characterised by an approximate chiral spin symmetry of the partition function, which is a symmetry of the colour charge and the confining electric part of the QCD ...

Chiral Symmetry and Nuclear Interactions [PDF]
AbstractAbout 3 decades ago, Steven Weinberg came up with an idea of using the effective chiral Lagrangian to describe nuclear interactions, which has had a long-lasting impact on nuclear physics. Here, I will reflect on what has been learned since that time about the role of chiral symmetry in this context and discuss achievements and challenges in ...

VECTOR MANIFESTATION OF CHIRAL SYMMETRY [PDF]
In this talk I summarize main features of the vector manifestation (VM) which was recently proposed as a novel manifestation of the Wigner realization of chiral symmetry in which the symmetry is restored at the critical point by the massless degenerate pion (and its flavor partners) and the rho meson (and its flavor partners) as the chiral partner.

Georgi-Goldstone realization of Chiral Symmetry in Quantum Chromodynamics [PDF]
It is shown that quantum chromodynamics based on asymptotic freedom and confinement exhibits the vector mode of chiral symmetry conjectured by Georgi.

Anomalies and discrete chiral symmetries [PDF]
The quantum anomaly that breaks the U(1) axial symmetry of massless multi-flavored QCD leaves behind a discrete flavor-singlet chiral invariance. With massive quarks, this residual symmetry has a close connection with the strong CP-violating parameter theta.

Chiral Perturbation in the Hidden Local Symmetry and Vector Manifestation of Chiral Symmetry [PDF]
In this talk I summarize our recent works on the chiral phase transition in the large flavor QCD studied by the hidden local symmetry (HLS). Bare parameters in the HLS are determined by matching the HLS with the underlying QCD at the matching scale through the Wilsonian matching.

Probing chiral symmetry with a topological domain wall sensor [PDF]
Chiral symmetry is a fundamental property with profound implications for the properties of elementary particles, that implies a spectral symmetry (i.e. E => -E ) in their dispersion relation. In condensed matter physics, chiral symmetry is frequently associated with superconductors or materials hosting Dirac fermions such as graphene or topological ...

A further extension to the group of Ginsparg-Wilson (overlap) chiral symmetries [PDF]
As shown by Mandula, the Ginsparg-Wilson lattice realisation of chiral symmetry has a possible ambiguity: there is no unique lattice chiral symmetry, but an infinite group of symmetries with non-commuting generators. The physical implications of this abundance of symmetry remain unclear. In recent work, it has been shown how these chiral symmetries for
