Breaking of Odd Chirality in Magnetoelectrodeposition
Electrodeposition under magnetic fields (magnetoelectrodeposition; MED) can induce surface chirality on copper films. The chiral signs of MED films should depend on the magnetic field polarity; namely, the reversal of the magnetic field causes the ...

Chiral fermion reversal in chiral crystals [PDF]
AbstractIn materials chiral fermions such as Weyl fermions are characterized by nonzero chiral charges, which are singular points of Berry curvature in momentum space. Recently, new types of chiral fermions beyond Weyl fermions have been discovered in structurally chiral crystals CoSi, RhSi and PtAl.

Hierarchical communication of chirality for aromatic oligoamide sequences
Communication of chirality at a molecular level is the fundamental for transmitting chirality information but one-step communication modes in many artificial systems limits further processing the chirality information.

Chiral extensions of chiral polytopes
Given a chiral d-polytope K with regular facets, we describe a construction for a chiral (d + 1)-polytope P with facets isomorphic to K. Furthermore, P is finite whenever K is finite. We provide explicit examples of chiral 4-polytopes constructed in this way from chiral toroidal maps.

Chirality-Selected Coacervate by Chiral Gemini Surfactant
Chiral surfactants present opportunities to self-assemble into supramolecules with a chiral trait; however, the effects of stereochemistry on the formation of simple coacervates remain unclear.

Quantum circuits to measure scalar spin chirality
The scalar spin chirality is a three-body physical observable that plays an outstanding role both in classical magnetism, characterizing non-co-planar spin textures, and in quantum magnetism, as an order parameter for chiral spin liquids.

28-Day Oral Chronic Toxicity Study of Arctigenin in Rats
Arctium lappa (burdock) is the most popular daily edible vegetable in China and Japan because of its general health tonic effects. Previous studies focused on the beneficial role of Arctigenin but neglected its potential side-effects and toxicities.

Chirality with all broken mirror symmetries matters ubiquitously from DNA functionality, vine climbing, to the piezoelectricity of quartz crystals. Magnetic chirality means chirality in spin-ordered states or (atomic-scale or mesoscopic) spin textures ...
