Check for Chirality in Nuclear Physics
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2006Exited states in 134Pr were populated in the fusion‐evaporation reaction 119Sn(19F, 4n)134Pr. Recoil distance Doppler‐shift and Doppler‐shift attenuation measurements using the Euroball spectrometer, in conjunction with the inner BGO ball and the Cologne plunger, were performed at beam energies of 87 MeV and 83 MeV, respectively.

A physical interpretation of coupling chiral metaatoms
Nanoscale, 2022The microscopic origins of chiroptical response in metasurfaces are studied based on temporal coupled-mode theory and quasinormal modes. Using a biorthogonal approach, the model identifies a critical coupling condition for unity circular dichroism.

The effect of physical chiral forces as deterministic mechanisms is covered in this chapter. Among the four fundamental forces, the weak interaction is the only one that can have a differential effect on chirality, or, expressed in other terms, it is an interaction that violates parity.
