Generalized Chirp Spread Spectrum for Underwater Acoustic Communications
In this paper, we propose a generalized-chirp spread spectrum (G-CSS) that can have various modulation orders and offers superior bit error rate (BER) performance to improve the communication performance of existing chirp-based modulation/demodulation ...

Temperature Monitoring of Mass Concrete Structure Using Wireless Sensing System
Rapid temperature changes during the early stages of mass concrete construction can cause thermal cracking, which negatively impacts structural integrity and longevity. Reliable temperature monitoring is essential for effective crack control. Traditional methods, such as manual inspections and wired structural health monitoring systems, are often ...

Molecular Copper(I)‐Sensitized Photoanodes for Alcohol Oxidation under Ambient Conditions
A donor‐Cu(I)‐acceptor visible light photosensitizer is synthesized and characterized. Upon light irradiation, an electron/hole pair is formed first by metal‐to‐ligand charge transfer. The ligands are tailored such that the hole is delocalized into a phenothiazine donating moiety, and the electron is delocalized in a phenazine accepting moiety, leading

A PAPR correction scheme for LoRa self‐jamming waveforms
A self‐jamming scheme of LoRa waveforms enabling secure transmissions is recently proposed in literature, which performs well in simulations. However, experiments on SDR equipment immediately showed that a transmission is impossible due to PAPR introduced by the waveform modification.
