Heterogeneous Copper‐Catalyzed 1,4‐Conjugate Additions of Grignard Reagents to Cyclic and Linear Enones

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
The 1,4‐conjugate addition of Grignard reagents to various cyclic and linear enones using a heterogeneous catalyst is reported. Recyclable copper nanoparticles immobilized on polysaccharide support (e.g., cellulose, chitosan) enable high chemo‐ and regioselectivity.

On‐Chip Multiplexed Voltammetry Using a Universal Antifouling Hydrogel and Porous Gold Foam Interface for Stress and Inflammation Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
A multiplexed device is fabricated via silicon microelectronics and adapted for electrochemical sensing interface. Its 100 um gold disk electrodes are modified with porous gold foam and coated with a rapid, biocompatibleantifouling layer. Universal immunoglobulin G (IgG) capture is enabled through Protein A/G.

Chitosan, Gelatine, and Cellulose Based Hydrogels for the Removal of Potentially Toxic Elements from Aquaculture Water: A Comparative Study

open access: yesAdvanced Sustainable Systems, EarlyView.
Hydrogels made of chemically modified biopolymers are easy to prepare and cost‐effective, they have proven to be effective materials for the simultaneous removal of seven potentially toxic elements (PTEs) from ultrapure and real water samples. The cellulose‐based one seems the best for single treatments while the gelatine‐based one seems the most ...
