Amperometric Sensor for Detection of Chloride Ions [PDF]
Chloride ion sensing is important in many fields such as clinical diagnosis, environmental monitoring and industrial applications. We have measured chloride ions at a carbon paste electrode (CPE) and at a CPE modified with solid AgNO3, a solution of AgNO3 and/or solid silver particles.

Investigation into the impact of chloride ion uptake inhibitors on tobacco plants
IntroductionExcessive chloride ion content in tobacco leaves adversely affects the flammability of flue-cured tobacco, particularly in tobacco-growing regions of northern China, where this issue is more pronounced.

Concentration Distribution of Chloride Ion under the Influence of the Convection-Diffusion Coupling
The transfer process of chloride ion under the action of the convection-diffusion coupling was analyzed in order to predict the corrosion of reinforcement and the durability of structure more accurately.

Study on the Effect of Ultraviolet Irradiation on the Chloride Ion Transport Behavior in Unsaturated Concrete [PDF]
To study the corrosion behavior of concrete under ultraviolet irradiation, considering the influence of different ultraviolet irradiation intensities, the chloride ion transport behavior in unsaturated concrete was investigated via alternating wet-dry ...

Polarography of Halides in Dimethylformamide. III. The Chloride Ion, the Trichloromercurate Ion, and Mercuric Chloride [PDF]
Abstract The polarographic behavior of the chloride ion at the dropping mercury electrode was investigated in dimethylformamide. The chloride ion gives two diffusion-controlled anodic waves. On the basis of the analysis of the waves, the first anodic wave can be ascribed to the reversible oxidation of mercury to form either the tri- or ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Study on Chloride Ion Diffusion Model in Crack Zones of Saturated Concrete Structure
In order to accurately characterize the behavior of cracks in accelerating chloride ion transport on both sides of the concrete, the concept of effective influence distance of cracks was proposed, and the crack pores were non-uniformly distributed ...
