The synthesis of ultrathin Ti‐based 2D hexagonal transition metal borides (TiBTx h‐MBene) via ZnCl2 molten salt and the formed disorderly low‐boiling‐point Zn‐In intermediate, followed by TBAOH delamination. The delaminated structure, with O‐ and Cl‐terminations, improves Li‐ion transport, achieving 530 mAh g−1 at 0.1 A g−1 and 120 mAh g−1 at 10 A g−1,

Modification of polymer backbone via halogenation and comonomer selection leads to conjugated backbones of different stereoelectronic properties, thin film morphologies, and electrical characteristics. The interplay of conformational isomerism, coplanarity, backbone curvature, backbone orientation, and ordering in thin films, electrical conductivity ...

EDA Complex‐Driven Desaturation of Heterocyclic Carbonyl Compounds Enabled by HFIP
In this work, we report a novel light‐mediated desaturation strategy enabled by electron donor–acceptor complex formation. DFT and mechanistic studies reveal that the reaction proceeds via single‐electron transfer, hydrogen atom transfer, and base‐mediated deprotonation sequentially with pyridinium salt serving dually as oxidant and base, and ...

Treatment of Alcohols with Tosyl Chloride Does Not always Lead to the Formation of Tosylates
Treatment of substituted benzyl alcohols with tosyl chloride resulted in the formation of the corresponding chlorides, not the usual tosylates. A series of experiments demonstrated that it was possible to predict whether chlorination or tosylation would ...

Flow‐Enabled, Modular Access to α,α‐Difluoromethylene Amines
We report a safe and scalable flow‐based strategy for the on‐demand generation of NCF2R anions using a packed‐bed microreactor containing CsF. This protocol enables the late‐stage installation of the CF2 group under mild conditions leveraging three points of diversification, allowing efficient access to a broad range of NCF2R scaffolds.
