The Relationship between Chlorite and Reservoir Quality in the Huagang Formation, Xihu Depression, China

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
Low permeability tight gas resources account for 90% of the Xihu Sag. Under the background of extensive development of low permeability and tight reservoirs, the key to economic and effective development is to find sweet reservoir formation.

The propylitic alteration in the Ponce Enriquez Gold Mining district, Azuay province, Ecuador: genetic constraints from a mineral chemistry and fluid inclusions study

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2023
Wide areas of the Southern sector of Ecuador are characterized by Cretaceous mafic volcanic rocks, pervasively altered by a propylitic mineralogical assemblage with epidote, chlorite, and quartz with minor titanite, illite and prehnite.

The chlorite adduct of aquacobalamin: contrast with chlorite dismutase

open access: yesJBIC Journal of Biological Inorganic Chemistry
Abstract In the reaction of aquacobalamin (aquaCbl) with chlorite, a stable species is detected and assigned as a Co(III)–chlorite complex, Co(III)–OClO−. Its UV–Vis spectrum is almost identical to that of aquaCbl, except for some minor differences at ~ 430 nm; cyanide can eliminate and prevent these changes.

Near Infrared Spectroscopic Study of Trioctahedral Chlorites and Its Remote Sensing Application

open access: yesOpen Geosciences, 2019
The mineral chemistry of thirteen trioctahedral chlorite samples from four regions in northwestern China, having a wide range of Fe and Mg contents and relatively constant Al and Si contents, were studied via raman spectroscopy, near infrared (NIR ...

PT-FORMATION CONDITIONS OF POLYMETALLIC ORES FROM THE Pb-Zn-Fe AKTASH SKARN DEPOSIT (WESTERN KARAMAZAR, TAJIKISTAN) [PDF]

open access: yesМинералогия, 2021
Fluid inclusions are studied in calcite from magnetite ores and sulfide-carbonate veins of the Aktash sulfide-magnetite deposit (Western Karanazar, Tajikistan) to identify their formation conditions.

Experimental study on reaction of chlorite with CO2 aqueous solution

open access: yesYouqicang pingjia yu kaifa, 2022
During the reaction between CO2 and rocks, there is a synergistic/coupling effect among minerals because the rocks contain quartz, potassium feldspar, albite and other components, which promotes or inhibits the reaction process to a certain extent.

Low-temperature magnetic anisotropy in micas and chlorite [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Phyllosilicates, such as micas and chlorite, are common rock-forming minerals and often show preferred orientation in deformed rocks. In combination with single-crystal anisotropy, this leads to anisotropy of physical properties in the rock, such as ...
