Mechanically Assisted PO, PN, and PS Bonds Formation

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 11, 3 June 2026.
We present a general mechanochemical strategy for constructing PO, PN, and PS bonds via solvent‐free reactions of phosphoryl chlorides with O‐, N‐, and S‐nucleophiles. The method operates under mild conditions, shows broad substrate scope, and affords phosphates, phosphoramidates, and thiophosphates efficiently, providing a sustainable platform for ...

The Pd-catalyzed hydrodechlorination of chlorophenols in aqueous solutions under mild conditions: A promising approach to practical use in wastewater

open access: yes, 2009
Catalytic hydrotreating of chlorophenols was carried out in water with Pd/C at 25 degrees C under atmospheric pressure. 1.0% (w/w) monocholophenols was completely dechlorinated within 60 min. Phenol, cyclohexanone and cyclohexanol were formed.

Fast Determination of Chlorophenols at the ppt Level. A New Analytical Tool for Quality Control of Cork Stoppers?

open access: yesCHIMIA, 2004
Chlorophenols (CPs) are the precursors of the main source for the so-called musty taint, especially in wine. Currently, different fast methods for the determination of the chloroanisoles (CAs), mainly 2,4,6-trichloroanisole (TCA), the principal ...

Magnetic Nickel‐Containing Heterogeneous Catalysts for the Heck Reaction: Catalyst Design, Performance, and Sustainability

open access: yesChemistryOpen, Volume 15, Issue 6, June 2026.
This schematic outlines a general Heck coupling using magnetic nickel‐based catalysts. The reactants are mixed and heated to promote carbon–carbon bond formation and produce a substituted alkene product. After completion, an external magnet enables rapid separation of the nickel catalyst from the reaction mixture.

Advances in BiOCl‐Based Photocatalysts: From Synthesis, Structural Tailoring to Solar Energy Conversion

open access: yesRare Metals, Volume 45, Issue 6, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Semiconductor photocatalysis represents a pivotal frontier in the quest for sustainable energy and environmental remediation. Among the diverse catalytic materials, Bismuth Oxychloride (BiOCl) has emerged as a particularly promising candidate due to its unique layered structure, featuring [Bi2O2]2+ layers intertwined with halogen ions, which ...

Refinement of Retention Indices in Gas Chromatography for a Number of Substituted Phenols

open access: yesAnalytica
Substituted phenols, including chlorophenols, are important analytes, particularly in the context of environmental analysis. Chlorophenols are formed during the disinfection of drinking water by chlorination and are important water pollutants.

Precision of chlorophenols and chloroanisoles measurement in cooperage oak woods

open access: yesOENO One, 2005
This work was the first step of a study initiated by the FFT (Fédération Française de la Tonnellerie) to review the different aspects of the oak wood contamination, and especially contamination by chlorophenols and chloroanisoles.
