Polarographic determination of chlorquinaldol in pharmaceutical preparations

Abstract A polarographic method for chlorquinaldol (5,7-dichloro-2-methyl-8-hydroxyquinoline) determination, based on the main cathodic wave, has been developed in acidic medium and it has been applied to pharmaceutical preparations. The obtained results show good accuracy; the relative standard deviation is ± 0.013.
