Disentangling contract and law: Legal specificity and contractual governance in public–private partnerships

Abstract Research Summary This study examines how legal design shapes contractual governance in public–private partnership (PPP). We argue that PPP‐specific laws do not simply strengthen institutional safeguards; by varying in detail, they also alter the flexibility available for project‐level contracting.

Fatigue Strength in Additive Toolmaking: A Study of Metal Binder Jetting and Electron Beam Melting for Processing Carbide‐Rich Cold‐Work Tool Steels

Focusing on the critical tap hole region of the blast furnace, this work examines binder characteristics, prepares tap hole clay with different formulations, and evaluates their physical properties. The findings confirm the advantages of composite binders and offer a new binder option for tap hole clay.

ABSTRACT The pyrethrins, which form a part of naturally occurring insecticidal chemicals derived from chrysanthemum flowers, not only provide rapid knockdown of a broad spectrum of insect pests but are also widely used in integrated pest management due to a generally favorable safety profile, largely attributed to low mammalian toxicity.
