A 0.18μm front end for ECG/EEG/neural sensor interface [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A 1.8V 0.18μm CMOS analog front end consists of a chopper stabilized low noise preamplifier, a capacitive negative feedback gain stage and a variable gain amplifier with digital tunable low pass filter bank is presented. With optimized gain distribution,

Discovery and Engineering of a Rat Endogenous Retrovirus Reverse Transcriptase for Efficient Prime Editing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We screened 558 reverse transcriptases and engineered an optimized rat endogenous retrovirus‐derived variant, enRERV‐RT, via structure‐guided engineering and deep mutational scanning. This enhanced prime editor, based on the engineered RT, outperforms conventional M‐MLV‐RT systems across plant and animal cells, particularly at hard‐to‐edit loci ...

A Capacitively-Coupled Chopper Instrumentation Amplifier for Implantable Bridge Sensor Systems [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents an energy and area efficient capacitively-coupled chopper instrumentation amplifier (CCIA) dedicated to implantable bridge sensor systems. Chopper stabilization is employed to decrease its offset and 1/f noise and the resulting ripple

A Brain‐Penetrant Nanobody Reveals GSK3β‐Driven Proline‐Directed Phosphorylation as a Master Regulator of Ischemic Neurodegeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A brain‐targeted nanoparticle enables delivery of a therapeutic nanobody (Nb.29E9) that inhibits pathogenic GSK3β signaling. This intervention restores AMPK/mTORC1/TGFβ homeostasis, attenuates neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, and promotes long‐term functional recovery after ischemic stroke.

Cancellation of Amplifier Offset and 1/f Noise: An Improved Chopper Stabilized Technique [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
In this brief, a theoretical analysis on the limits of conventional chopper stabilization technique is presented and a solution conceived to improve the amplifier performance is proposed.

Interfacial Proton‐Relay Microenvironment Enables Self‐Driven Singlet Oxygen Generation under Neutral Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An interfacial proton‐relay microenvironment at MoS2‐CuCl heterostructures enables selective O2 activation to 1O2 under neutral conditions. Electron‐deficient sulfur sites mediate proton transfer to Cu‐bound O2, accelerating *OOH hydrogenation while suppressing O─O bond cleavage, achieving stable, efficient pollutant removal.

Intrinsically Mitochondria‐Targeting Nanozyme via Coordination‐Assembly of Natural Quercetin for Cascade Antioxidant Therapy of Cerebral Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers that quercetin naturally targets mitochondria. By coordinating quercetin with Fe3+, we engineer an ultrasmall cascade nanozyme (MCN) with superoxide dismutase‐catalase activities. MCN crosses the damaged blood–brain barrier, scavenges mitochondrial ROS, prevents mitochondrial DNA leakage, and blocks the cGAS‐STING pathway, thereby ...
