Choreographies as Federations of Choreographies and Orchestrations
2006We propose a new conceptual model for choreographies of web-services. Choreographies are seen as virtual workflow models shared among participants. Subsets of these participants might have more refined models known only to them. So we see choreographies actually as federations of process models (choreographies as well as orchestrations).

We propose a new programming model that supports a compositionality of choreographies. The key of our approach is the introduction of partial choreographies, which can mix global descriptions with communications among external peers. We prove that if two choreographies are composable, then the endpoints independently generated from each choreography ...

A dynamical motion description language (DMDL) is devised. The study of the control of unstable mechanical systems is quite challenging, involving difficult problems caused by limited communication rates, quantization errors, and parasitic dynamics.

Synthesis of Resilient Choreographies
2013A possible Service Engineering (SE) approach to build service-based systems is to compose together distributed services by considering a global specification of their interactions, namely a choreography. BPMN2 (Business Process Modeling Notation v2.0) provides a dedicated notation, called Choreography Diagrams, to define the global expected behavior ...

For a Choreography of Emotions: Spatiotemporal Phenomenology
PsychopathologyBackground: Emotions are a key feature of human life. Despite intensive research, we still do not have a full grasp of the complexity of emotions, such as their peculiar combination of emotional feeling and behavioral motor manifestation. We also lack translational research that links the phenomenal (experiential) with the pre-phenomenal (neurological)
