Modern Technologies In Ectopic Pregnancy Diagnostics On Hospital Stage [PDF]

open access: yesСаратовский научно-медицинский журнал, 2009
The present research provides analysis of results of preoperative examination of 680 patients with ectopic pregnancy depending on the range of surgical treatment. It has been shown that in case of progressive ectopic pregnancy the diagnostic significance

Semaphorin 3E‐Plexin‐D1 Pathway Downstream of the Luteinizing Hormone Surge Regulates Ovulation, Granulosa Cell Luteinization, and Ovarian Angiogenesis in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The Semaphorin 3E (Sema3E)‐Plexin‐D1 pathway mediated by C/EBPα and C/EBPβ downstream of the luteinizing hormone (LH) surge plays important roles in the mouse preovulatory ovary. Timely activation and suppression of this pathway during the preovulatory stage are crucial for ovulation, corpus luteum formation, and proper angiogenesis.

First-trimester or second-trimester screening, or both, for Down's syndrome [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
BACKGROUND: It is uncertain how best to screen pregnant women for the presence of fetal Down's syndrome: to perform first-trimester screening, to perform second-trimester screening, or to use strategies incorporating measurements in both trimesters ...

RSPO2 Coordinates with GDF9:BMP15 Heterodimers to Promote Granulosa Cell and Oocyte Development in Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
RSPO2 and GDF9:BMP15 heterodimers—core components of oocyte‐secreted factors (OSFs)—coordinate to shape the molecular architecture of preantral granulosa cells via gene‐specific synergistic and antagonistic regulation, mediated through CTNNB1–SMAD2 signaling crosstalk.

Adverse Effects of Trichothiodystrophy DNA Repair and Transcription Gene Abnormalities on Human Fetal Development [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The effects of DNA repair and transcription genes in human prenatal life have never been studied. Trichothiodystrophy (TTD) is a rare (affected frequency of 10^-6^) recessive disorder caused by mutations in genes involved in the nucleotide excision ...

Novel Microfiber Sensor and Its Biosensing Application for Detection of hCG Based on a Singlemode-Tapered Hollow Core-Singlemode Fiber Structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
A novel microfiber sensor is proposed and demonstrated based on a singlemode-tapered hollow core -singlemode (STHS) fiber structure. Experimentally a STHS with taper waist diameter of 26.5 μm has been fabricated and RI sensitivity of 816, 1601.86, and ...

Different Timing of Adjuvant Low Dose hCG and GnRH Agonist Trigger Protocol, in OHSS High-Risk Patient with Peak E2 Level <4000 pg/mL

open access: yesGynecology Obstetrics & Reproductive Medicine, 2020
OBJECTIVE: The aim of the study is to compare the live birth rates between 1,500 I.U. of Human chorionic gonadotropin at the time of Gonadotropin-releasing hormone agonist trigger day or 35-36 h later on the oocyte pick-up day, without affecting the ...

A review of luteinising hormone and human chorionic gonadotropin when used in assisted reproductive technology

open access: yesReproductive Biology and Endocrinology, 2014
Gonadotropins extracted from the urine of post-menopausal women have traditionally been used to stimulate folliculogenesis in the treatment of infertility and in assisted reproductive technology (ART). Products, such as human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG)

Efficient Somatic Cell Nuclear Transfer by Overcoming Both Pre‐ and Post‐Implantation Epigenetic Barriers

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mammalian cloning via SCNT is limited by several epigenetic barriers. Kdm4d/Kdm5b overexpression plus TSA treatment overcomes epigenetic barriers during pre‐implantation development, while tetraploid complementation replaces defective extraembryonic lineages to bypass H3K27me3 imprinting loss to overcome epigenetic barriers in post‐implantation ...
