Life Course Family Dynamics and Transfers From Children to Biological Parents
ABSTRACT Objective Time in childhood spent living apart from a biological parent or with a repartnered parent is theorized to disrupt norms of intergenerational solidarity and reduce transfers from adult children to parents. Parents' partnership status when children are grown is also expected to influence children's transfers.

Typical properties of rising and falling tone chorus waves
Chorus waves, which have received intense attention recently due to their significant role in radiation belt electron dynamics, frequently exhibit rising and falling tones. Lower-band chorus waves, observed using THEMIS wave burst data, are analyzed to obtain the typical properties of either class of chorus emissions. Our results show that rising tones

Hiss Wave Evolution During Substorms Based on Van Allen Probes Observations
Abstract Hiss waves frequently occur in the plasmasphere or plumes, playing a key role in energetic electron loss in the Earth's inner magnetosphere. While previous studies have linked hiss wave enhancements in the outer plasmasphere (just inside the plasmapause) to electron injections during substorms, their evolution across various substorm phases ...

Abstract Resolving the mixture of natural plasma waves and persistent spacecraft interference is a fundamental challenge in space physics, as it obstructs the analysis of wave‐particle interactions and energy transport processes. Traditional signal decomposition methods often fail to adequately separate these components due to their time‐varying ...

Abrupt Disappearance of Plasmaspheric Hiss Inside the Magnetic Dip
Abstract Plasmaspheric hiss plays an important role in radiation belt electron dynamics, and its excitation and propagation have long attracted attention. During a substorm, Van Allen Probe B observed the disappearance of plasmaspheric hiss at the magnetic dip, which was driven by the injection of energetic protons.

A label‐free impedimetric immunosensor based on laser‐induced graphene decorated with ZnO nanorods is developed for prostate‐specific antigen detection. Antibody adsorption on ZnO enables clinically relevant sensitivity and an unconventional “signaling‐off” response, where charge‐transfer resistance decreases upon antigen binding, challenging ...
