An Anatomy of the Social Phenomenon of ‘Single-Member Household’ : A Christian Ethical Perspective
The Korean Journal of Humanities and the Social Sciences, 2020우리 사회가 산업화․도시화의 흐름 속에서 확대가족이 줄고 핵가족이 늘어난 것은 새삼스러운 일이 아니다. 부부 없이 자녀끼리만 사는 가구도 많다. 그러나 ‘나 홀로’ 삶을 꾸리는 ‘1인 가구’의 수가 ‘2인 이상 가구’의 수를 넘어선 사실은 한 번쯤 짚어 보아야 할 기현상이다. 언론에 자주 오르내리는 ‘독거노인’ 이야기가 아니다. ‘1인 가구’는 전 연령층에 걸쳐 발견되는데, 특히 20․30세대에서 두드러진다. 1인 가구가 증가함에 따라 사회 전체의 소비 패턴에도 큰 변화가 일고 있다. 무엇보다 ‘혼밥족’과 ‘혼술족’이 눈에 띄게 늘어난 것이 그 보기다. 그런데 이처럼 20․30세대가 가족을 이루지 않고 혼자 삶을 꾸리는 현상을
