Abstract figure legend Schematic diagram illustrating the proposed pathway in which regulatory defects might occur in sympathetic neurons derived from hiPSC in catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT). Specifically, enhanced calcium transients appeared to derive from three sources: enhanced membrane excitability (due to loss of ...

A Path to Better Science Through Co‐Creation and Open Infrastructure
Abstract Proprietary development solutions are often perceived as being delivered more quickly and easily than open methods, fueling the misconception that they inherently produce better overall outcomes. However, we argue that open development practices can lead to both efficient and maximally impactful outcomes.

Childhood Material Hardship Linked to Adolescent Neurocognition: A Computational Modeling Approach
ABSTRACT Childhood material hardship, including insecurity in housing, utilities, food, and medical care, is a critical factor influencing cognitive functioning and mental health outcomes. However, past research on material hardship is limited by cross‐sectional data and reliance on conventional behavioral measures of cognitive functioning that suffer ...

Prognostic Value of Impaired Vocal Cord Mobility in T2N0 Glottic Cancer Treated With IMRT
T2N0M0 glottic cancers with impaired vocal cord mobility (VCM) have worse outcomes than T2N0M0 tumors with normal VCM, but still fare better than T3N0M0 disease. These findings support subdivision of T2 glottic cancer into T2a (normal VCM) and T2b (impaired VCM) in future TNM revisions.
