Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics, 1991The amount of longitudinal chromatic aberration in group of younger and older subjects is compared in three separate studies, using a laser speckle optometer. Badal optometers with monochromatic illumination. and monochromatic retinoscopy. No evidence is Found for any systematic change in chromatic aberration with age.

Chromatic aberration electron monochromator
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1982The performance of an electron monochromator based on the chromatic aberration of electrostatic lenses was investigated. A first approximation analysis of the monochromator’s operation is given. A prototype monochromator was built and tested to produce an electron beam of less than 25 MeV FWHM at 10−9A, with high stability and reproducibility.
