Strong Chromatic Index Of Planar Graphs With Large Girth
Let Δ ≥ 4 be an integer. In this note, we prove that every planar graph with maximum degree Δ and girth at least 1 Δ+46 is strong (2Δ−1)-edgecolorable, that is best possible (in terms of number of colors) as soon as G contains two adjacent vertices of ...

Star chromatic index of subcubic multigraphs [PDF]
AbstractThe star chromatic index of a multigraph G, denoted , is the minimum number of colors needed to properly color the edges of G such that no path or cycle of length four is bicolored. A multigraph G is star k‐edge‐colorable if . Dvořák, Mohar, and Šámal [Star chromatic index, J.

A Soft Microrobot for Single‐Cell Transport, Spheroid Assembly, and Dual‐Mode Drug Screening
A soft, untethered hydrogel microrobot enables precise single‐cell delivery, self‐assembly into 3D spheroids, and real‐time thermal actuation. Driven by light‐induced convection and embedded with gold nanorods and temperature sensors, the microrobot guides cells, modulates local microenvironments, and supports drug testing.

Integrating Vibrio natriegens for Photon Manipulation in Living Lighting Devices
Rationalization of genetic and material engineering tools has enabled the engineering of fluorescent Vibrio natriegens (V. natriegens) to fabricate straightforward, highly emissive and stable V. natriegens‐silicones color filters for the first red‐emitting bacteria‐hybrid light‐emitting diodes. This pinpoints V. natriegens as a high‐performance protein

List Star Edge-Coloring of Subcubic Graphs
A star edge-coloring of a graph G is a proper edge coloring such that every 2-colored connected subgraph of G is a path of length at most 3. For a graph G, let the list star chromatic index of G, ch′st(G), be the minimum k such that for any k-uniform ...

Chromatic Aberration in Wavefront Coding Imaging with Trefoil Phase Mask
The refractive index of the lenses used in optical designs varies with wavelength, causing light rays to fail when focusing on a single plane. This phenomenon is known as chromatic aberration (CA), chromatic distortion, or color fringing, among other ...

Strong Edge-Coloring Of Planar Graphs
A strong edge-coloring of a graph is a proper edge-coloring where each color class induces a matching. We denote by 𝜒's(G) the strong chromatic index of G which is the smallest integer k such that G can be strongly edge-colored with k colors. It is known
