Chromatography of soluble proteins from the bovine vitreous body on DEAE-cellulose
Experimental Eye Research, 1962The soluble proteins of the bovine vitreous body were studied by chromatography on diethylaminoethyl cellulose columns, free electrophoresis, and immunoelectrophoresis. Free electrophoresis revealed at least four protein components, but immunoelectrophoresis showed the presence of a minimum of twelve components, at least three of which are not present ...

DEAE-cellulose chromatography of creatine kinase isoenzymes — Effect of pH and serum
Clinical Biochemistry, 1979DEAE-cellulose chromatography (pH 7.0) of human heart extracts revealed the presence of three creatine kinase isoenzymes. The CK3 (skeletal muscle) isoenzyme was not retained on the column under these conditions. The CK2 (heart) and CK1 (brain) isoenzymes eluted at a conductivity of 5.5 +/- 0.6 m omega-1 and 11.4 +/- 1.2m omega-1, respectively.

Protein fractionation IV. Characterization of serum lipoproteins by chromatography on deae-cellulose
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta, 1961Abstract Chromatography on DEAE-cellulose was performed with sera from patients with polycythemia vera and granulocytic leukemia, who were treated with ionic 32 PO 4 . Four 32 P peaks are consistently found in these chromatograms, following introduction of buffers II, IV, V and VII, numbered in the order of increasing phosphate concentration and ...

Purification of Escherichia coli pulse-labeled RNA by benzoylated DEAE-cellulose chromatography
Journal of Molecular Biology, 1969The rapidly-labeled RNA fraction of Escherichia coli has been purified approximately 15-fold on benzoylated DEAE-cellulose columns. It is metabolically unstable (as shown by a pulse/chase experiment), and is considered to represent messenger RNA. The yield of pulse-labeled RNA is about 70% and comprises 4 to 5% of the RNA of the cell.

[85] Chromatography of sRNA on DEAE-cellulose and DEAE-Sephadex
1967Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the purification of sRNA using diethylaminoethyl (DEAE)-cellulose and DEAE-Sephadex chromatography column. DEAE-cellulose and DEAE-Sephadex are commercially available ion-exchange supports with moderately good flow characteristics and adequately reproducible chromatographic performance.
