Paper chromatography of dyes II. Paper chromatography of vat and sulphur dyes
Journal of Chromatography A, 1963Abstract The paper chromatography of vat and sulphur dyes, using reducing solvents at 80°, has been carried out, the dyes being separated as their leuco compounds. In both cases ascending paper chromatography was applied. The relation between dye constitution and chromatographic behaviour has been examined.

Paper chromatography of mercaptides
Journal of Chromatography A, 1962Abstract The chromatographic separation and identification of several sulfhydryl compounds with iodoacetamide, p-mercuriphenylsulfonate, and p-mercuribenzoate is described. The possibility of applying this technique to structural studies of cysteine-containing proteins is indicated.

Paper Chromatography of Porphyrin Pigments
Scandinavian Journal of Clinical and Laboratory Investigation, 19531. A simple and time-sparing procedure for the paper chromatographic separation of porphyrin pigments has been described.2. 2–6 lutidine, which is completely miscible with water at temperatures up to 40o C, has been found to be easier to handle than the 2–4/2–5 lutidine used by Nicholas & Rimington (1949, 1951).3.

Separation Science and Technology, 1982
Abstract Available methods of examination do not provide absolute certainty that two samples of paper have the same origin. A new technique for testing paper, known as inverse paper chromatography (IPC), is based on using a strip of paper as the chromatographic sorbent medium on which a mixture of known probes is separated under standardized conditions.

Electro chromatography on paper
Analytica Chimica Acta, 1953Abstract The term 'electrochromatography' is used to denote the specific cases where chromatography and ionophoresis operate simultaneously. The electric field may be applied either in the direction of flow of the solvent or at right angles to it. The filter paper is previously treated with the relevant buffer solution and the developing solvent too ...

Paper chromatography of phenols
Journal of Chromatography A, 1961Summary A convenient two-phase solvent system for descending paper chromatography of free, mono-phenolic compounds is described. Some relationships between RF value, acidity (pKa) and structure are discussed.

The predawn of paper chromatography
Chromatographia, 2001The activities of F.F. Runge, F. Goppelsroeder and R.E. Liesegang are outlined. The technique of capillary analysis is described and its shortcomings elaborated. Tswett's use of filter paper to imitate plant tissues is explained and finally, the considerations of Izmailov and Shraiber eventually leading to thin-layer chromatography are summarized.
