Overpressured thin-layer chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1986
The properties, apparatus and applications of overpressured thin-layer chromatography (OPTLC) have been reviewed. In the Introduction planar chromatography has been briefly characterized, with particular attention to TLC. The general properties of OPTLC and methods of development of chromatograms in this technique have been then given. The construction

Thin-layer chromatography of corticosteroids

Journal of Chromatography A, 1962
The separation of eighteen corticosteroids and pregnane derivatives in submicrogram quantities by thin-layer chromatography is reported. Positional isomers, axial-equatorial hydroxyl epimers, and A/B cis-trans isomers were successfully resolved. Rapid separation of aldosterone, cortisone, and cortisol was achieved.

Enantioseparations by Thin-Layer Chromatography

2012
An up-to-date overview of thin-layer chromatography (TLC) techniques for chiral separations of various significant and/or recent examples of enantioresolutions is reported. Furthermore, examples for chiral separations obtained on achiral commercially available C18 TLC plates are described in detail.

Thin-Layer Chromatography of Iodochlorhydroxyquin

Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, 1964
A thin-layer chromatographic method is described for the separation of iodochlorhydroxyquin and its intermediates. The method is applicable not only to the substance but also to its pharmaceutical formulations, in which the material is suspended in ointment or cream.

Thin-layer chromatography of polyglycerols

The Analyst, 1967
A simple thin-layer chromatographic technique is described for separating commercial polyglycerol products into their various components. Two slightly different procedures have been developed, the first of which is suitable for carrying out separations according to molecular weight or chainlength, and the second for carrying out separations of branched

Thin-layer chromatography of mycotoxins

Journal of Chromatography A, 1985
TLC has become an extremely powerful, rapid and in most instances inexpensive separation technique in mycotoxicology. This review presents achievements of its applications in this field. General technical aspects of the TLC of mycotoxins that are discussed include extraction and clean-up procedures, adsorbents and solvent systems, detection methods ...

Contour thin-layer chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1968
Abstract Examinations were conducted of the tendency of migrating substances to ascend on thin strips of varying widths, to follow: 1 cm strips at varying angles above the horizontal compared with the vertical and with reversal of angle of solvent flow, varying degrees of curvature in a single narrow arc or in a series of ascending arcs producing ...
