Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Application of Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for Modelling Chromium(VI) removal using Iron Oxide Nanoparticles [PDF]
Nowadays, one of the most important environmental pollution is heavy metals industrial wastewater. Among the various types of heavy metals, chromium is one of the hazardous and toxic environmental pollutants. In order to prevent damage caused by chromium,

Chromium (VI) removal from aqueous solutions using a polyethylenimine - epichlorohydrin resin [PDF]
The ability of a synthesized polyethylenimine - epichlorohydrin resin to remove Cr(VI) from aqueous solutions was investigated in absence (initial pH 2 to 7) and presence of background electrolytes (NaNO3 and Na2SO4 solutions of initial pH 3 and

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Diamond-like carbon / epoxy low-friction coatings to replace electroplated chromium
A series of layered structures based on epoxy-resins coated with diamond-like carbon (DLC) are examined as potential replacements for electroplated chromium in aerospace applications. Diamond-like carbon coatings can offer superior mechanical properties

In Vitro Selection of Chromium‐Dependent DNAzymes for Sensing Chromium(III) and Chromium(VI) [PDF]
AbstractChromium is a very important analyte for environmental monitoring, and developing biosensors for chromium is a long‐standing analytical challenge. In this work, in vitro selection of RNA‐cleaving DNAzymes was carried out in the presence of Cr3+. The most active DNAzyme turned out to be the previously reported lanthanide‐dependent Ce13d DNAzyme.

CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...

Electrochemistry of active chromium, part III: Effects of temperature [PDF]
It was shown that the temperature in the range 20 – 65 ºC has considerable effects on the electrochemical anodic dissolution of chromium in the active potential range as well as on the electrochemical hydrogen evolution reactions on bare and oxide ...
