Impact of Positive Lifestyle Behaviors on Direct Health Care Cost Savings for Low Back Pain
Objective This study aimed to investigate the relationship between a previously purpose‐developed lifestyle behavior scale and health care cost savings related to low back pain (LBP). Methods This longitudinal study used data from the Australian Twin Back (AUTBACK) study. LBP and lifestyle behavior measures were collected at baseline. Physical activity

Competitive reaction modelling in aqueous systems. The case of contemporary reduction of dichromates and nitrates by nZVI [PDF]
In various Countries, Cr(VI) still represents one of the groundwater pollutant of major concern, mainly due to its high toxicity, furthermore enhanced by the synergic effect in presence of other contaminants.

Objective Body mass index (BMI), glomerular filtration rate (GFR), and pretreatment urate levels have been reported to influence the urate‐lowering response to allopurinol. We investigated whether the fractional excretion of uric acid (FEUA) also modulates this response and relates to oxypurinol concentrations.

A homoleptic chromium(
The first homoleptic monomeric chromium(iii) carboxylate has been prepared using an anhydrous salt metathesis synthetic route. The carboxylate groups coordinate the chromium in a bidentate chelate yielding an aliphatic soluble complex.

Kinetics of chromium ion absorption by cross-linked polyacrylate films [PDF]
Three cross-linked ion exchange membranes were studied as to their ability to absorb chromium ion from aqueous chromium III nitrate solutions. Attention was given to the mechanism of absorption, composition of the absorbed product, and the chemical ...

Bacillus Resistance and Potensial as Chromium (Cr) Bioremoval [PDF]
Chromium is one of heavy metal that encountered environment from industrial waste so it can contaminate the environment. Chromium resistance bacteria can transform Cr(VI) to Cr(III).

Biotreatment of cr(VI)-containing wastewater mediated by indigenous bacteria [PDF]
Indigenous Pseudomonas veronii 2E, Klebsiella oxytoca P2 and Klebsiella ornithinolityca 1P were tested as catalysts for the transformation of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) for Cr(VI)-containing wastewater biotreatments.

Objective Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon due to the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of the vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.

Especiação redox de cromo em solo acidentalmente contaminado com solução sulfocrômica. [PDF]
Determination of Cr(VI) and Cr(III) was studied in soil samples accidentally contaminated with sulphochromic solution. Molecular absorption spectrophotometry based on the diphenylcarbazide method was used for the determination of Cr(VI) after its ...

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...
