Chlorogenic Acid Ameliorate Lipopolysaccharide Induced Intestinal Acute Inflammatory Injury via Inhibiting Cytokines Production and Activating Intestinal Stem Cells

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 14, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study aimed to investigate the protective effect and underlying mechanism of CGA in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced intestinal injury mice. The findings suggest that CGA alleviates intestinal injury by suppressing inflammatory response and preserving ISCs activity via inhibition of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway.

Non‐Functional Paraganglioma of the Urinary Bladder: A Rare Cause of Bladder Tumor

open access: yesIJU Case Reports, Volume 9, Issue 2, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction Paragangliomas of the urinary bladder (PUBs) are rare neuroendocrine tumors, representing less than 0.06% of all bladder neoplasms. While most are functional and associated with catecholamine excess, approximately 15% are non‐functional, often presenting asymptomatically and discovered incidentally.

Oleoylethanolamide regulates intestinal stem cell activity and villus size via PPARα signaling pathway

open access: yesiMetaOmics, Volume 3, Issue 1, March 2026.
First use of a natural swine model with lipid metabolism to directly link lipid differences to a quantifiable intestinal villus height phenotype. Identified the phospholipid‐derived oleoylethanolamide, rather than canonical fatty acids, as the endogenous primary ligand that activates peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptors α (PPARα) to enlarge ...

Mapping Intestinal Paracellular Perm Eability in Mice: Regional and Cellular Variability Under Physiological and Stimulated Conditions

open access: yesFASEB BioAdvances, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study analyzed the paracellular permeability of the intestines of healthy mice at a basal level. A new detection method involving tissue incubation for 5 min with luminal fluorescent dyes, such as FM1‐43FX (FM), which bind to accessible plasma (or external) cell membranes, was developed.

What the Eyelid Can Tell You: The Unexpected Initial Presentation of De Novo Stage IV Breast Carcinoma

open access: yesJournal of Cutaneous Pathology, Volume 53, Issue 3, Page 248-253, March 2026.
ABSTRACT A 66‐year‐old female presented with seven months of progressive right upper eyelid (RUL) drooping and thickening of her right lower eyelid (RLL). MRI revealed soft tissue enhancement of the RUL and RLL pre‐septal planes without posterior extension.
