Therapy of chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis
The American Journal of Medicine, 1983Clinical observations made on a group of six children and three adults indicate that ketoconazole is a safe and effective fungistatic agent that is useful for both initial and long-term maintenance therapy of mucocutaneous lesions due to infection by sensitive strains of Candida in patients with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis.

Chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis.
Orvosi hetilap, 2022Chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis is a genetically heterogeneous group of disorders, which are characterised by chronic or recurrent non-invasive skin, nail and mucous membrane infections caused by Candida. The increased susceptibility to Candida infections is due to a Th17-cell mediated immune defect with different gene mutations in the background ...

LYMPHOCYTE ABNORMALITY IN CHRONIC MUCOCUTANEOUS CANDIDIASIS
The Lancet, 1970Abstract In a 25-year-old woman with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis no cutaneous delayed hypersensitivity to candida antigens, tuberculin, or dinitrochlorobenzene was found. In vitro challenge of her lymphocytes showed a normal blastoid response to candida, purified protein derivative, and allogenic lymphocytes.

Chronic Mucocutaneous Candidiasis

Transfer factor in chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis
Biotherapy, 1996Fifteen patients suffering from chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis were treated with an in vitro produced TF specific for Candida albicans antigens and/or with TF extracted from pooled buffy coats of blood donors. CMI of the patients was assessed using the LMT and the LST in presence of candidine.

IMMUNOLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS IN CHRONIC MUCOCUTANEOUS CANDIDIASIS
The Lancet, 1969Abstract Immunological studies in an 11-year-old patient with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis are presented. Defective cellular immunity, both in vivo and in vitro, were identified. There was complete anergy, with negative intradermal tests for delayed hypersensitivity with eight antigens and a lack of response to dinitrochlorobenzene after contact ...

DIFFUSE CHRONIC GRANULOMATOUS MUCOCUTANEOUS CANDIDIASIS
International Journal of Dermatology, 1976A 3-year-old Thai boy with diffuse chronic granulomatous mucocutaneous candidiasis, recurrent bacterial skin infection and adrenal insufficiency is reported. Candida albicans was demonstrated in the dermal granuloma. He had a defect in cell-mediated immunity and was anemic.

Dermatophytosis in patients with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1980We review the association of concurrent dermatophytic infections in patients with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis and add twelve new patients to the seventeen previously reported ones. In sixty patients with chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis studied at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), twelve (20%) also had significant local or diffuse ...

Disseminated histoplasmosis in chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis
Pediatric Radiology, 1993Chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis (CMC) is rarely associated with disseminated Candida, but is often associated with systemic infection secondary to other organisms [1]. A 6-year-old with CMC and disseminated histoplasmosis is presented here.
