Prognostic Utility of the Preoperative Cachexia Index in Patients Undergoing Emergency Laparotomy
The preoperative cachexia index, incorporating muscle mass, nutritional status, and inflammation, predicts in‐hospital and one‐year mortality in patients undergoing emergency laparotomy.
