MRI Features in Submandibular Gland Chronic Sclerosing Sialadenitis: A Report of Three Cases and Imaging Findings [PDF]
Introduction: Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (Küttner tumor) is a relatively uncommon and often under-recognized cause of salivary gland enlargement, characterised by sclerosing IgG4-related inflammation, producing a hard swelling of the gland that ...

Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (Küttner's tumor) of the submandibular salivary gland: Our experience of one case report [PDF]
Surgical excision of the submandibular salivary gland in patients with chronic sclerosing sialadenitis can be complicated because of hyalinosis of the surrounding soft tissues.

IgG4-related chronic sclerosing sialadenitis in a child with recurrent parotitis: a case report [PDF]
Background IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) includes a group of immune-mediated diseases histologically characterized by lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate with a prevalence of IgG4-positive plasma cells, storiform fibrosis and obliterative phlebitis. Autoimmune

Tenascin-C in chronic sclerosing sialadenitis. [PDF]
Tenascin-C is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein that has been implicated in the development of fibrosis in certain chronic inflammatory/sclerosing conditions. This study was undertaken to expand our understanding of the processes involved in fibrosis that occurs in chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (CSS) by investigating the distribution of tenascin-C.

Toll-like receptors 2 and 4, and bacterial proteins in IgG4-related sialadenitis, other types of chronic sialadenitis and sialolithiasis [PDF]
Background The association of chronic sclerosing sialadenitis and IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) has resulted in the more frequent identification of IgG4-positivity in submandibular gland inflammations, also uncovering IgG4 overexpression in nonspecific ...

Immunoglobulin G4-related chronic sclerosing sialadenitis: An emerging entity.
Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis is associated with the immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related disease (RD) spectrum. IgG4-RD is a newly recognized immunomediated fibroinflammatory condition characterized by several features: a tendency to form tumefactive lesions at multiple sites, lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate, fibrosis and obliterative phlebitis.

Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (Küttner's tumour) of the submandibular gland: a neoplastic mimic. [PDF]
A 74-year-old man was referred for a plastic surgery consultation for two previous acute episodes of right submandibular sialadenitis. Physical examination revealed a lump in the right submandibular region, painful on palpation. The initial impression on clinical examination was of sialolithiasis.

An unusual presentation of chronic sclerosing sialadenitis of submandibular gland (Kuttner's tumour). [PDF]
Kuttner’s tumour, also known as chronic sclerosing sialadenitis, is a localised form of IgG4 disease which presents as asymptomatic submandibular gland swelling. The diagnosis is usually based on histopathology and immunohistochemistry. A 33-year-old woman presented with acute-onset pain and swelling in the right submandibular region.

Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis of the bilateral submandibular glands in childhood - a diagnostic dilemma. [PDF]
Chronic sclerosing sialadenitis (CSS), currently included in the group of immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related diseases, is an under-recognized inflammatory lesion that afflicts mostly the submandibular gland of 40-60 years adults. To our knowledge, only one case of CSS located in the submandibular gland has been reported in childhood to date. We present a

Sub mandibulectomy for chronic sclerosing sialadenitis – comments on a clinical case [PDF]
Introduction. Sialolithiasis is one of the most common pathologies of the salivary glands. When calculi are present in the distal excretory duct, in the hilum or in the parenchyma, complete removal of the submandibular gland is recommended.
